Notice is hereby given that a regular meeting of the Board of Education of the Yoakum Independent School District will be held held Monday, July 13, 2026, at 6:00 P.M., in the Board Conference Room of the Yoakum Independent School District, 315 E. Gonzales Street, Yoakum, Texas.

The subjects to be discussed or considered or upon which any formal action may be taken are as follows:

  1. Roll call
  2. Approve minutes of the regular board meeting of June 8, 2026
  3. Communications
    1. Report of the Tax Assessor/Collector
  4. Public comments
  5. Old business
  6. New business
    1. Identify advanced and honors classes eligible for UIL exemption to no pass/no play policy
    2. Approve income eligibility guidelines for National School Lunch Program
    3. Consider/Approve TASB Update 127
    4. Consideration and possible action to adopt Board Resolution related to Good Cause Exception to Texas Education Code 37.0814
    5.  Receive a report on the 2026 District Safety Audit Report
