Ascender Changes Dec 2025

Over the weekend, there will be changes to accessing ASCENDER’s login page. All Ascender pages will be unavailable starting at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, December 5th. 

This will affect the following:

• ASCENDER Parent Portal
• ASCENDER Student Portal
• ASCENDER Teacher Portal – Staff must not access over the weekend
• ASCENDER – Staff must not access over the weekend

New links will be available on Yoakum ISD website homepage on Monday, December 8, 2025.

Due to the updates happening across all four sections of ASCENDER, if you have any of these links saved on your phone/computer, you will need to update those bookmarks. The links on the school website will be updated, but you must also update the bookmarks on your phone/computer with the new link.

Also, you will probably get a pop-up when you first access any portion of ASCENDER with the new link. When this happens, you will need to allow pop-ups and program redirects. This normally appears in the browser’s upper right corner.

Lastly, if your ASCENDER’s login and password are saved in your browser, they will not work with the new ASCENDER link. While we do not recommend saving passwords, when you first visit a new website, you can save your login and password. Usernames and passwords are not changing.

Once you are logged in, everything in ASCENDER will work the same. The only changes are to ASCENDER links.
