  • Yoakum I.S.D. 2022 Season Football Tickets

        Season tickets for the 2022 Yoakum Bulldogs Football season will go on sale in the Office of the Superintendent of Schools, 315 E. Gonzales Street, Yoakum, Texas, on Monday, August 8, at 8:00 a.m. The price of season tickets for five (5) varsity home games is $25 per set. The schedule for purchasing Season Tickets is as follows:

         Monday, August 8 - Thursday, August 18 - Season Ticket Holders from Last Year may purchase their  same tickets. Tickets not purchased by August 18, 2022 will be made available for sale to anyone wishing to purchase. If you will not be purchasing your season tickets, please notify Y.I.S.D. Administration Office at 361-293-3162.

         Monday, August 22 - Friday, September 2 - Season tickets will be available to everyone on a first-come, first-served basis.

        Season tickets will not be sold after Friday, September 2, 2022.

    No refunds will be given for cancelled games.

  • Primary Annex Registration

    New Students Only -- Primary Annex will hold registration for Pre-K and Kindergarten on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 from 8:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. and from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. If you already registered your child on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, you need not register again on August 3.

    Your child will not be registered unless all of the following original documents are presented:
         Certified Birth Certificate-Student
         Social Security Card-Student
         Current Immunization (Shot) Record-Student
         Valid Driver's License/Photo I.D.-Legal Parent/Guardian enrolling student
         Proof of Residence (current utility bill, lease agreement, etc. with name and address printed on it)
         If the student does not live with a parent, Legal Guardianship documentation must be presented at the time of registration.

    Primary Annex Orientation will be August 15, 2022. Pre-K will be at 5:30 p.m. and Kindergarten at 6:15 p.m. Parents and students will have an opportunity to meet their teachers. We advise Kindergarten parents/students to bring their school supplies that night. 

    Since Yoakum I.S.D. has entered into a partnership with Head Start, all school supplies, including backpacks and sleep mats, will be provided by BCFS for all incoming Pre-K students.

  • Primary School Registration

    Yoakum Primary School will hold registration for all incoming 1st and 2nd graders on the following day:

                      Wednesday, August 3 - 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

    Proof of Residency (utility bill, lease agreement, etc. with name and address printed on it) will need to be presented on the day of registration for all students.

    All NEW students to Yoakum ISD entering 1st or 2nd grade will need to bring the following original documents:
         Certified Birth Certificate-Student
         Social Security Card-Student
         Current Immunization (Shot) Record-Student
         Last Report Card or Withdrawal Paperwork from previous school-Student
         Valid Driver's License/Photo I.D.-Parent/Guardian enrolling the student
         Proof of Residency(current utility bill, lease agreement, etc. with name and address printed on it)
         If the student does not live with a parent, Legal Guardianship documentation must be presented at the time of registration.

    Meet-the-Teacher will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. - 5:45 p.m. Students are encouraged to bring their supplies.

  • Intermediate School Registration

    Intermediate School will hold registration for all incoming 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students for the 2022-2023 school year on August 3 from 9 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. 

    All students will need to provide a current Proof of Residency (lease agreement, utility bill, etc. with name and address printed on it) at the time of registration.

    New students to Yoakum ISD will need to bring the following original documentation:
         Certified Birth Certificate-Student
         Social Security Card-Student
         Current Immunization (Shot) Record-Student
         Last Report Card or Withdrawal Paperwork from previous school-Student
         Valid Driver's License/Photo I.D.-Legal Parent/Guardian enrolling student

    Meet-the-Teacher will be held on Monday, August 15, 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. There will also be a 3rd grade/new student orientation in the Intermediate cafeteria at 5:00 p.m.

  • Yoakum Junior High Registration

    Yoakum Junior High will hold registration for ALL 2022-2023 sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students at Yoakum Junior High on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, from noon until 6:00 p.m. A parent/legal guardian MUST accompany each student during registration as signatures are required by both parties.

    Incoming 12-year-olds will need to bring their immunization records with them to registration. 

    Any student new to Yoakum ISD needs to bring the following original documentation:
         Certified Birth Certificate-Student
         Social Security Card-Student
         Current Immunization (Shot) Record-Student
         STAAR test results (if possible)
         Last report card or withdrawal paperwork from their previous school (if applicable)
         Valid Driver's License/Photo I.D.-Parent/Legal Guardian enrolling student
         Proof of residency (current utility bill, lease agreement, etc. with name and address printed on it)
         If the student does not live with a parent, Legal Guardianship documentation must be presented at the time of registration.

  • Yoakum High School Registration/Schedule Pick-Up

    *All students must be in dress code to register/pick up schedule.

    Tuesday, August 2 - Registration for all students new to Yoakum I.S.D.
         9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
         1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

    Wednesday, August 10 - Schedule Pick-Up
         9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. - 11/12 grades
         1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. - 9/10  grades

  • ESSER III Funds

     

    ESSER III Funds Survey

    In March 2021, the American Rescue Plan Act, also know as the ARP Act, was signed into law, dedicating funds for K-12 schools through the Elementary and Secondary School Education Relief (ESSER) III funds. As a result, YISD is eligible to receive one-time federal funds through the ESSER III program to be spent prior to September 30, 2024 to address expenses and learning loss associated with the COVID-19 Pandemic. YISD is seeking input on how to utilize the funds to best meet the needs of YISD students and families.     Accelerated Reader

    Over the Thanksgiving holiday, YISD upgraded to the newest version of Renaissance, which includes AR and STAR. The URL for Home Connect has changed, and you will need to enter your e-mail address again if you wish to receive notifications when your child takes AR tests.

  • Yoakum ISD Athletic Pictures Needed

    Yoakum ISD is in the process of updating team championship pictures as well as pictures of former Yoakum High School graduates who attended college and continued their athletic careers. The pictures are being digitally uploaded and eventually will be viewed on the screen in the new Bulldog Gym foyer.

    Pictures of team championships (district through state) from the fall of 2013 thru current year, as well as any 2013-2018 Yoakum High School graduate who went on to play in college are needed. No particular pose is necessary; typically, the athlete is pictured in their college uniform and any listings of their accomplishments included.

    Pictures and information can be turned in to the Yoakum ISD Administration Office at 315 East Gonzales Street. 

    Please note: Pictures will not be returned.
