Using Exact Language
Sometimes you can condense your language by using a more exact or precise  word.  Often one word will express the same thought that several words could also be used to express.  Sometimes a single word will create a more desirable or dramatic impact than using many cumbersome words. Here is a list of specific verbs that you might try using.
(Of course you can always consult a dictionary or thesaurus!)
