Rules for Quotation Marks
 The
exact words
people say are called a quotation.
- A quotation is put in quotation marks which are written
like this "....". One pair is placed before the quotation, and one pair
after the quotation.
- The first word of a quotation begins with a capital letter.
- If the quotation tells something, a comma is placed between
it and the rest of the sentence.

The Apostrophe
A mark like this ' written between two words is called an apostrophe.
- An apostrophe is used when we abbreviate two words by
leaving out some letters.
- An apostrophe is used to show that something belongs to a
person or thing.
