- A
sentence tells us something or asks us something.
- The first words in every sentence begins with a
capital.
- A sentence that tells us something end with a period.
- A sentence that asks us something is called a question. The first word in a
question begins with a capital letter. A question ends with a capital
ends with a question mark.

- When you write a list of things in a sentence, put a
comma after each thing listed.
