Earn and Learn! Cooperative
Education courses combine occupational related classroom instruction
and on-the-job training. On-the-job training is provided by
employers who hire you to work during each school day at wage rates
equitable for beginning employees. A portion of the classroom
time will be devoted to individualized supervised study directly
related to the individual occupation in which the student is
training.
|
These courses are designed for
students who wish to gain experience on the job while earning a salary.
Assistance will be available for locating a proper job. You will
earn two high school credits for on-the-job training, and one credit is
also earned for the classwork performed. Students must attend
school in the morning and work a minimum of 15 hours per week.
