| An occupationally specific course
which introduces the concepts, tool, and skills of desktop
publishing. Special emphasis is given to utilizing sophisticated
hardware and software to prepare document layout and designs, integrate
text and graphics, assemble text and graphics into pages utilizing page
layout packages, and output of the pages to a laser printer. The
course provides preparation for employment in
a desktop publishing position or advanced standing at the post
secondary level. |
