WELCOME
TO ECOS!
The Education and
Career
Opportunities System by EMBARK.COM
To give students the best tools and
opportunities to
prepare for the future, YHS has acquired the Education and Career
Opportunities
System, or E-COS, by The Princeton Review.. This web-based system can
be accessed through
the Internet at www.ecos.embark.com.
ECOS
is designed to help
students make the most informed
decisions about their career paths and post-secondary education. Every
student
can access their personal account from any computer with an Internet
connection, including school, home, and the public library. Students
simply
need to click on "student" and
enter the password and ID given to him or her by the counselor's
office. (If you have forgotten your
password or ID or need a new one,
contact Joy
Terry.)
Through ECOS,
students can:
- Identify scholarships and other financial aid options.
- Explore careers and majors.
- Search for vocational/tech schools and colleges.
- Get organized for your future.
- Communicate with a support/help network.
- Access practice tests for both the ACT and SAT tests.
- Complete a resume for scholarship and job searches.
There are many options to take in exploring
and
deciding on what your future is going to hold for you. You can make it
happen,
and ECOS can help you along the way to identify your goals and make
plans for
them.
