Agricultural Mechanics (1st semester) is designed to familiarize the

with basic theory and specialized skills of agricultural
mechanics. Skills will be developed in the areas of tool
identification and safe use, carpentry, electricity, plumbing, masonry,
fence building, painting, metal working, and welding processes.

Fabrication Technology (2nd semester) is a shop/laboratory-oriented
course
that includes the essential elements and the concepts and skills
related to agricultural metal fabrication technology. Basic
welding, sheet
metal, and manufacturing techniques are studied.

Horticulture Science (1st semester) is a classroom/lab oriented course
designed to prepare students to learn skills related to greenhouse,
nursery crop production, landscaping, floral design, and fruit and nut
production.

Design and Interior Landscape Development (2nd semester) is an
activity-based course which prepares the student to develop
competencies in live flower classification and identification,
geometric and specialized floral designs, tropical plans, and interior
landscaping.

the study of nutrition, reproduction, health, and management of
domestic
animals. This course is designed to examine the interrelatedness of
human,
scientific, and technological dimensions of crop production using the
resources
of land, soil, water, energy, and living organisms. Instruction
is
designed to expand one’s knowledge of the scientific and technological
dimensions
of resources necessary for crop production. |
