FTA is an organization that encourages high school students to develop leadership skills. This is also an opportunity to determine if a student is interested in becoming a teacher by getting into the classroom and visiting a college program on an elementary campus. The FTA members really enjoy the State and Leadership Conventions in Austin. If you like to work with children and to learn how to work with them and their personalities then FTA is for you.
