For curriculum quality control and sound curriculum management, there must
be a planned relationship between the written, the taught, and the tested
curricula. Teachers must have a concise set of objectives which are
truly aligned to the testing program and are followed in the classroom
in order to increase student achievement. |

| Teach and maintain
a world class curriculum that equips each student to thrive in the new
millennium. |

| Objectives: |
| 1. Design,
develop, and implement a world class, developmentally appropriate curriculum
and research based instructional delivery system. |
|
|
| 2. Provide
all students with multiple choices in pursuing a personal, quality instructional
program, which may include individual learning plans, dual enrollment in
colleges and universities, and opportunities for involvement in the community,
including service and mentoring. |
|
|
| 3. Provide
professional development opportunities to ensure that teachers demonstrate
mastery of content and model best practices in instructional methodology. |
|
|
| 4. Align
curriculum with assessments to ensure continually improved student performance
that results in students excelling on state, national, and international
assessments. |
|

| 5. Develop
early childhood initiatives that encourage community-wide support for learning. |

| 6. Develop
and strengthen programs to ensure that all children reach school ready
to learn. |

| 7. Provide
instructional techniques that emphasize hands-on involvement of students. |

the scientific and mathematical literacy of all students. |
