High school students in Texas who entered 9th grade in the 2011-2012 school year or later are required to take End of Course (EOC) exams upon completion of the following courses:
Students have 4 hours to complete the Algebra I, Biology, and US History exams and 5 hours to complete the English I and II exams, which have both reading and writing portions. All exams must be passed for a student to receive a high school diploma. More information about state testing can be found on TEA's website by clicking here.

Summer Retesting will be during the week of June 25-29.
Students who are retesting should report to the main building of the high school by 8:00 AM on their assigned testing days.

Students who entered 9th grade prior to the 2011-2012 school year are required to pass the TAKS test to earn a high school diploma. The TAKS test consists of English/Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies portions and is taken online. More information about TAKS testing can be found on TEA's website by clicking here
